Sotheby’s International Realty Appoints Six Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty Brokers to the Newly Established Next Generation Affinity Group
Real estate is an ever-evolving industry and Sotheby’s International Realty® is always in pursuit of ways to innovate and grow. Most recently that endeavor is shining through in the establishment of the brand’s Next Generation Affinity Group, a collective of forty brokers from across the United States that were identified by senior leadership as exceptional members of the network and their respective communities. Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty is thrilled to share that six of the firm’s brokers were hand-selected by Sotheby’s International Realty COO Julie Leonhardt LaTorre for inclusion: Phil Greely, Brian Hopper, Jay Kipp, Hilary Long, Sean Nielsen and Vlad Popach.
The affinity group is structured to be shaped by each member of the group with regular meetings to determine future directions, structure, content and beyond.
“I look forward to serving as a beta tester as we consider implementing new platforms and technology, putting my ‘boots on the ground’ as a voice for the brand, and engaging in excellent networking opportunities with my fellow members,” says Brian Hopper, who was assigned an advisory role within the group. “We’ve already had a few productive meetings and I am excited for what’s to come.”
Jay Kipp, who was recently named on the first-ever NAGLREP Top LGBT+ Agent List, says “I commend Julie Leonhardt LaTorre on driving the Next Gen initiative forward. This is a critical time for thought leaders from across the company to come together and collectively weigh in on the direction of Sotheby’s International Realty. The brokerage world is under pressure from venture capital, technology and rapidly changing dynamics in how agents and teams operate, not to mention what they expect to receive from their brokerage.”
“In my own business, I’m constantly pursuing growth, improvement and innovation. This pursuit led me to align with Sotheby’s International Realty and now I’m honored to help guide the future evolution of the brand’s pursuit of greatness,” adds Seattle-based broker Phil Greely, whose Vlog has garnered local and national attention. “Rubbing elbows with top producers and the next generation of leaders has been inspirational so far and I look forward to offering my thoughts on how we can all improve.”
As Sean Nielsen, a Newcastle-focused broker that has achieved record-breaking sales in the communities he serves says, “I’m excited to be a part of such a forward-thinking group of agents looking to make their mark within our industry. If we aren’t consistently changing our tactics we are losing business and missing out on opportunities to create new ways to engage our clients and build communities. This group will help shape the next generation of Sotheby’s International Realty.”
Hilary Long, assisting broker at the Eastside Gateway office in Kirkland, says she’s inspired by the opportunity to share and connect with other agents from around the nation. “The fact that the corporate team is investing and facilitating the Next Generation group speaks to our brand’s commitment to innovation and collaboration. It’s all about leveraging our incredible network!”
“I’m thrilled to be part of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Next Generation Affinity Group,” Vlad Popach, a specialist in luxury residential homes in Seattle and the Eastside adds. “The company’s dedication to our individual success is second to none; the Affinity Group ensures that our next generation brokers are equally equipped to prosper and maintain the highest quality of service that the real estate industry can provide.”
Many members of the group will gather at LIV Connect this weekend, a networking event hosted by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in Colorado.
